1. Acceptance of Platform Terms

By accessing, browsing, registering on, or contributing to Mahiti Loka, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, all applicable laws and regulations of India, and all local municipal regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this platform.

2. Contributor Obligations & Content Warranties

As a contributor submitting information, you represent and warrant that:

• All information submitted is factual, truthful, and verified to the best of your personal knowledge.
• You will not upload copyrighted photographs, trademarks, or proprietary text unless you hold lawful license, ownership, or fair dealing authorization.
• You will not impersonate any person, government body, cultural institution, or commercial enterprise.

3. Prohibited Content (IT Rules 2021 Compliance)

In accordance with Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021, users shall not host, display, upload, modify, publish, or transmit any information that:

• Belongs to another person and to which the user does not have any right;
• Is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially/ethnically objectionable;
• Harms minors in any manner;
• Infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights;
• Deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of the message or knowingly communicates any misinformation;
• Threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order.

4. 72-Hour Creator Control & Archival Integrity

To foster transparent public knowledge, original contributors have an unencumbered 72-hour creator deletion window from the moment of publication. Following the expiry of 72 hours, records are indexed into the community public commons and can only be modified or removed through the formal Editorial Review and Correction mechanism.

5. Limitation of Liability

The information on Mahiti Loka is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis for general public information. Tech SathyA makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the commercial fitness, uninterrupted availability, or real-time currency of business operating hours, venue access, or third-party listings.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
